The 10th Mountain Division is known as the most deployed unit in the U.S. Army. Today the War on Terror has drawn it to Afghanistan and Iraq. To Lieutenant Colonel Mike Infanti's unit fell the pacification of a hellish hotbed of terrorism south of Baghdad dubbed "The Triangle of Death." Of the more than three thousand Americans killed since the start of the war, over one thousand were in this region. Colonel Infanti assigned Delta Company to the most dangerous sector of the Triangle, a five-mile stretch of road that paralleled the Euphrates River in a series of blind s-curves where death stalked the Americans day and night. Delta knew they were virtually assured of getting hit on a daily basis. Each day and night became something to be dreaded and feared, exacting a heavy psychological toll on soldiers stressed to the limits of their mental and physical endurance. In the predawn of May 12, 2007, two Humvees occupied by seven soldiers and an Iraqi translator were ambushed by insurgents. When the smoke cleared, four soldiers and the translator were dead and three were missing, presumably seized by the enemy. For over a year, Delta searched for their missing comrades, never giving up hope. Their creed of battle: None Left Behind

Six years ago, Melody Pieterson was attacked and left for dead. Only a chance encounter with a dog walker saved her life. Melody's neighbor and close friend David Alden was found guilty of the crime and imprisoned, and the attack and David's betrayal of her friendship left Melody a different person. She no longer trusts her own judgment, she no longer trusts her friends. In fact, she no longer really has any friends. She's built a life behind walls and gates and security codes; she's cloistered herself away from the world almost entirely. And then, soon after David is released from prison, Eve Elliot is murdered in an attack almost identical to Melody's. With the start of a new police investigation, Melody is suddenly pulled from her ordered, secluded life and back into the messy world around her. But as she learns more about Eve's murder, Melody starts to wonder if perhaps David hadn't betrayed her after all...if perhaps the killer is someone else entirely, someone who's still out there, preparing to strike again. Narrated alternately by Melody and by Eve's lingering ghost, The Life I Left Behind is a taut thriller and an intimate look at two young women bound together in ways neither of them could ever have predicted. Colette McBeth has proven once again that she is a master of suspense.

A man. A woman. An eternal love. A war. A lifetime commitment to an oath. Though a fictional novel, The Ambiance of Victoria approaches situations of life given, within the realm or domain of World War Two, from the perspectives of two people. The book is a struggle for victory surrounded by an environment of defeat. There is the aftermath reality of war that not only must be accepted, but risen above, surmounted, and overcome. The Ambiance of Victory revolves around two people resolved to survive for their history, their philosophy, and their religion. They endure and exist and continue to exist for each other. In a world of hate; they love. Not only do they greatly care for and love each other, they live for their one common denominator. They live for their disciplines of life and only their love for their God trumps all else. Within The Ambiance of Victoria there is the achievement to worth. For two people, greatly in love, the eventual quality of triumph and achievement becomes reality. The above aspects are told from a unique perspective. The lives of two individuals are shaped by the times in which they live and the commitments adhered to and moved toward. There will be the views of many individuals which shape the two main personalities of character. And the two main characters certainly shape each other as they themselves shape others. As the years come and go, they continue to greatly love one another.

In Los Angeles, nothing ever “just happens.” The underbelly of the city works at a methodical pace, and any one action can spiral into a tornado powerful enough to tear up the city. A prisoner transport bus is ambushed in the pre-dawn hours, and all fifty-four maximum-security inmates escape. The city's best detectives begin sifting through the sea of decoys to find the target of the attack - but as law enforcement spins its wheels, the eight men behind the heist get further away from the crime scene. As the investigators dig for clues, one thing becomes clear: this was not merely a group of criminals breaking a partner out of jail. This was an act of pure desperation.

Are you free to believe the unbelievable? Can you be amazed that a dove can have faith? Can you believe that a human heart prayed for a dove?"I stayed by my kitchen window, eyes shut and hands clenched, praying in the Spirit for The Dove in the Wind."The message of this book is not mine; it is the voice and song of Ruach the dove. She sings God's love story. It is the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to all believers, no matter the country, the race, or religious denomination. It is the voice of God that fills us to overflow with the Spirit; calling us to the highest place; inviting us to seek Him in the fullness of Christ. It sings of freedom found at the cross and in the power of his resurrection. It is a call to make the Christian life real and practical.Since 2000, Dr. Silvia Lia Leigh has been co-pastor of Father's House Bible Church, Delta State, Nigeria. Her women's ministry has inspired women in Nigeria and around the world. She is the author of Sing Deborah Sing.
