Throughout history, the existence of a higher power has been questioned. Religions have been created to worship a God or Gods, with written scriptures providing words for which Humanity is to live their lives. People have either accepted or denied God's existence. But many people, who have experienced events in their lives still question whether this higher power exists. This is a story of a person who asked God to answer the questions many have asked. And God Spoke.

Sixty superlative sermons on familiar Old Testament texts. Many Christian preachers today largely neglect the Old Testament in their sermons, focusing instead on the Gospel accounts of Jesus teachings and activities. As Fleming Rutledge points out, however, when the New Testament is disconnected from the context of the Old Testament, it is like a house with no foundation, a plant with no roots, or a pump with no well. In this powerful collection of sixty sermons on the Old Testament, Rutledge expounds on a number of familiar Old Testament passages featuring Abraham, Samuel, David, Elijah, Job, Jonah, and many other larger-than-life figures. Applying these texts to contemporary life and Christian theology, she highlights the ways in which their multivocal messages can be heard in all their diversity while still proclaiming univocally, Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.

His reflections on some of the ways we might answer these questions in the church today became the twelve short chapters of this book. Here scripture scholar and Anglican priest Christopher Bryan looks at the nature of the Bible's authority and inspiration and how the Bible can inform our decision-making today. He explores common questions about scripture, such as: What do we mean when we say that the scriptures are revelatory, that they are inspired, that they are the Word of God? How do we define the Bible's authority for the past and the future? What does a church that takes the Bible's authority seriously actually look like? How does it read, study, and pray with the Bible? And God Spoke offers essential guidelines for everyone who wonders about the authority of the Bible, and who wants to read it with attentiveness and understanding.

What did the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit discuss when God decided to create the world? How did He decide to sacrifice Himself for mankind before He even made man? What was "in the beginning"? Through art and rhythmic prose, this book explores what conversation the Godhead may have had before the foundations of the world were even laid.

It was at this new church, Lakeside Outreach Ministries that my life really took a turn. I had so many times since my son passed, kept asking God the question, “why”? I found my answer here. I met so many wonderful people who had so much pain and grief and illnesses in their lives, but, they never lost their faith in God. I began to write about my Pastor, Pastor Kenny Griffin and his church and his people, and when I did, I seen their pain, I felt their suffering. I cannot explain, but, people, even strangers began asking me to write about their loved one who had departed, and then come back to tell me how much the poem had meant to them. This had become my calling, this is what God wanted me to do, and as it became more and more widespread, my involvement with Jesus became more and more, the words were coming so fast, the insight I was seeing, only God knew what was happening to me. I would be nothing, nor would there be any written poetry without God, for when I sit down to write, I say a prayer to God, saying, “God, please give me the words to write, and He always would. That is why I call my book of poetry, GOD SPOKE/I WROTE.

God’s still small voice “There is great joy in doing something on the spur of the moment. When you do this, you find true freedom of the Spirit. You will find a new joy and freedom, which I long for all My children to have. “Life is so simple. Keep it so. Let nothing weigh you down or depress you. All is very well. Live fully in the now. “Take no thought for the morrow. Enjoy to the full what is happening now. Keep your consciousness raised, your mind stayed on Me. See My perfection working in you and through you, all your needs have been met, for all I have is yours. “Let the words and the thoughts you have heard so many times become a part of your whole being, so that they are vibrating words which manifest in form and become reality.” The messages in this book ask us to have total faith in the process of living -- to trust God, the universe, spirit, love, or whatever we choose to call the divine source. They affirm that there is an inherent wisdom and intelligence in everything, which can be contacted by turning within. Each one of us can do this and find God’s still small voice for ourselves. Eileen Caddy (1917-2006) is known worldwide as one of the three founders of the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. The books that have flowed from her inspiration have drawn multitudes to the Findhorn community. In her own person, Eileen Caddy, divinely ordinary as she described herself, has pushed the limits of the ordinary person’s experience to the very borders of the kingdom of God.

INTRODUCTIONIt's Never Too Hopeless for GodIt may sound unbelievable but that is the truth - no situation is too hopeless for our God; mankind is yet to present any situation that is too chaotic for Him to handle. In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was without form, darkness covered everywhere but God's Spirit hovered over the waters and God spoke and creation began. The moment God spoke brethren things changed, He called for light "Let there be light" and there was light, and the prevailing darkness completely disappeared, spend time to read through Genesis 1 and you will see God's power on display. This power that God displayed at creation has not waned, God is the same yesterday, today and forever, He has established His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19). Our God does whatever pleases Him (Psalm 115:3; 135:6).Oftentimes we try to reduce His abilities to our level of understanding, we usually overlook the fact that His thoughts are not our thoughts, our ways are not His ways, the gap between God's ways and ours are like that between the heaven and the earth (Isaiah 55:8-9). I want us to believe as we read through this Book that irrespective of where life has driven us to, that as far as our God is seated on the throne He knows what to do for us, even when our senses can't think of any possible solution. This is an attempt to unveil as much as possible the numerous lessons God has deposited in the Valley of Dry Bones and the Valley of Baca (Weeping) for us for such a time as this, lessons that are capable of giving us hope in the midst of all the hopelessness in the world today, lessons that the Lord has preserved over the ages and I pray even as we study that they will come alive that we may partake of all the benefits the good Lord intends for us all in Jesus name. For ease of readability this volume is divided into two parts, A& B. Part A will capture the Valley of Dry Bones and B will delve into the Valley of Baca (Weeping). The Valley of Dry bones captured in Ezekiel 37:1-10 is probably the most popular of all the Valleys mentioned in Scriptures, many believers have gleaned from this Valley over the years and testimonies abound of those who have encountered the power of God in the cause of meditating on this experience and some while listening to sermons from this text have been awesomely touched by the power of God.It is one thing to read the Scriptures for reading sake, quite another to approach it with an expectation, to mix what you are hearing or reading with faith and expect God to break through for you being conscious of the fact that God is the same yesterday, today and forever and whatever He did for those before us, He has the capacity to do same for us if only we will let Him!This Valley opens a genuine door of possibilities to believers, it speaks of such confidence in our God that whatever we are going through in this life is under His control, no situation under heavens is too difficult for Him, He can turn our fortunes around no matter what the enemy tries to do.No situation is too chaotic for our God, hopelessness can never get to the point that God will be wondering what to do, I think we should seriously come to the point in this Valley of boldly declaring to the evil one that the God Who has the power to turn Dry, worthless bones into a vast army is able to take care of our situation. Part B looks at The Valley of Baca, where we will try as much as possible to see what God has made available to us in handling our heart breaking experiences on this side of eternity. The sons of Korah recorded this in Psalm 84:5-7 (NLT) "What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their m

Like the biblical Job, many people suffer under the silence of God. This book shows that it is enlightening to retrace the origins of the concept of divine speech and silence in the ancient Near East and Greece.
